you obviously never drove a 3.8 JK or a TJ... a 3.6 JK on 35's w/ 4.10s would smoke a stock TJ or 3.8 JK any day of the week.

Agree with this, try it first. On the '12 you might be just fine with the 4.10 and then use an AEV procal.

I'm on the 3.73 with 35". It sucked until I used the Procal, now it's fine. It's not IDEAL, but not bad. Without the procal, gears were on the short list. Once I used it, they're on the long list. I might wait until I get 37's for gears.

If you definitely want gears, I think 4.88 and 5.13 are your choices. Not 4.56.
