Default Tire Carrier

Hey Phillie,
I'm new to the site, new 08 JK owner and I am planning a similar build up. I have been doing a lot of reading, and my only suggestion would be to spend a little more money and get a bumper with a tire carrier. Apparently mounting anything larger than a stock tire is putting a lot of extra stress on the gate and gate hinges. Also of note.. My brother-in-law's JK with 35's has the same carrier you are planning to use, and he has a pretty annoying rattle from the carrier and spare. He is planning to add a bumper with tire carrier to fix this. Hope this helps.

Just an FYI, I have the rugged ridge front with end caps on a 2.5 lift with 13.5" tires, pretty close to what you will have, and when I have the wheels at full turn if the front dips any it rubs the tires. I ended up removing my end caps until I decide whether I plan to go higher or not.
