So im going to get me a new JK sometime this week, im wanting to go with the 4door, X or Sahara havent quite decided yet. But anyways im wanting know what lift i should go with.....i want a 4 inch kit, 35s or 37s dont know yet. What other mods need to be done if i go with a 4 inch kit and say 37s? brake lines? pitman arm? drive lines? etc???? Oh and another question does the lift void the warranty? And what if the dealer installs the lift?

 

Quickly, no driveline mods with 3", maybe some with 4". Kits should come with what's necessary. 35's fit with 3" lift, 37's with 4". Do some searching on this site and you should find all the info you need to decide. Good luck.

 

X2 on the above. Just ask the dealer if they are willing to install the lift. I sat down with the salesman(after the price of the jeep was determined) and basically said this is what I want ( I paid for lift and install), and if you can do it, I'll buy the jeep. Some dealers are willing to work with you. I didn't mind paying for the install since they are honoring the warranty.
