Default Need a measurement (Instatrunk/Security Deck)

Springtime is almost here and I'm itching to get the soft top on. However, I can't do that until I can find some way to protect and secure my new sub. I don't want it visible and accessible with the soft top. I've been looking into both the Bestop and Tuffy trunk enclosures but am unsure of the actual allowable height and whether or not the sub will fit underneath it. Can somebody with this setup take some measurements for me? I need the approximate height from the trunk floor to the bottom of the trunk enclosure.

Not sure if it matters but I need it done for an 2011.

Cheers.

With the stock Jeep emblem cargo mat installed the height is 14 1/2" but without it is 14 3/4". The upper deck has a 2 1/8" depth. At 28 1/2" from tailgate to rear panel there is step down that lowers the height to 13"...that is only for the rear 1 1/2" of the trunk. I hope this helps and if you need any more measurements or pictures let me know.

Also this is for the Tuffy Security Deck Enclosure installed in a 2011 Sahara Unlimited.

Sonix... did you purchase and install the Tuffy Trunk Enclosure. If so, how does it fit and does it rattle with your sub?

I installed mine myself and it was a straight forward install and I have not noticed any rattle from the stock Infinity sub.

I have a 2011 JKU X and my install was super simple! It's pretty straight forward and the directions are very clear and easy to understand. And there are very few parts that contact metal to metal so I don't see to much rattling going on.
