Default Need a little help with tranny

What is too hot for my tranny? I'm experiencing a tranny temp as high as 200 on a 20 minute ride around town. I do not have a after market cooler yet(just ordered one and it will be here in 2 weeks). Will this fix my problem or do I have something else going on that I need to look for?

Your fine at 200. @ 250 is when you have problems . Normal temps are around 185 to 210

Well I've had it go up to 250 when I was hill climbing some sand dunes. Although I shut it down as soon as it happened and waited for it to cool off. That's what prompted me to get the cooler.
