the coilovers just replace the coil springs and shock. you would still need to upgrade the other suspension components, control arms, trac bars, etc to maximize the flex

its really not bad. If you buy the EVO MFG coilover kits they basically come with everything you need. Here's what you need to add
You will need to add front lower adjustable control arms, drag link flip kit.

2012+ will need a front driveshaft. This is a minimum set up, Of course you can upgrade other arms, but they are not needed right fromt the start.

This is exactly what I'm running on my 2012 JK, I drive it 60 miles plus a day and wheel the hell out of it on the weekends

Is the kit you are talking about the bolt on kit? I would only run the kit at 3-3.5" of lift for 35's. you may be a bit biased, but how are the road manners compared to stock? Don't crawl or wheel enough to justify really stiff suspension. From what I've read, the minimum set up will handle what I would throw at it.

it will adjust to your desired height with 35's and look great. There's not a lift kit on the market that can touch the road manners of this kit, If you are looking for the softest ride possible this is it. You dont need a stiff suspension to wheel or crawl btw.

Heres a link to the parts
Front bolt on coilovers
Rear Bolt on Coilovers
EVO Front lower adjustable arms
EVO Drag Link flip

Just a few more questions....How long are the King bump stops that are an option on the site? I will probably only run the 12" set up. What backspacing do I need for that? I thought I read somewhere you need 3.75. I am starting from scratch and only want to do this once....So I better start saving!

Tat,, everything chris at evo is saying is true. I got the driveshafts, and my fabricator did everything else,,, 3 link susp front and rear,, with custom track bars and mounts, along with all the steering stuff, brake lines, and shock towers. Its important you either go with a reputable company with a quality product, or use someone who really understands how a suspension works. I think a lot of people who start messing with their suspensions don't realize how important all the geometry really is!!

If I had the money to build a rig yours I would do it in a heart beat but I don't. There is just over $4500 in parts alone. Ad a fabricator and the ticker starts spinning. Add another $1500-$2000 for new wheels and tires (stock now). With the fab work, I'm going out on a limb and saying I'd be in the whole $10k. Not that the rig wouldn't be awesome and completely worth it, but I cant drop that kind of money on my Jeep. I can get an RK max travel with shocks that will do what I need with wheels and tires for less than parts for the coil overs. If Im wrong please correct me. Just going from what I have seen in other post.

what do you want it to do? You can make a coil and shock kit ride smooth without spending a fortune. We also have a good starter kit that uses the same parts as our Coilover system.
EVO: Suspension / Steering, EVO MFG(2) 4" Lift Kit ENFORCER Package

You can pair the kit with Rancho or Bilsteins to save a little money over the Kings. It will stil ride soft

Looks interesting, how does to compare to tearfalex 4in long arm. And could you upgrade to coil overs in the future with this kit with out any other modifications?
