Default Need help with tires

I have a 2010 jeep wrangler unlimited and i wanted to upgrade my tires but i don't know the max height/width I could go without rubbing. I've done some research and it says you can go a max of 32" without rubbing and 33" with rubbing, but I couldn't find anything on the max width. I'm going with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO's and i was looking at either the 275/70R17 or the 285/70R17. I also want to stay on stock rims which are the stock 17"'s. Please give me some help. Thanks

ok thanks you very much. Do you think the stock 17 x 7.5 will work with a 285 or 275?

Default 285 will rub

The 285 will rub on stock wheels untill you add spacers. I just got my spacers for the same reason.

I've got 305/65/17 BFG A/T KO's on stock wheels so yes they'll fit. I do have 1.5" wheel spacers & a Teraflex leveling kit though. The wheel spacers are a must. They'll fit without any lift but they'd rub offroad.

How bad are the 285's going to rub? Are the 275's going to rub also?
