In short sure you can, but with the way the sliders bolt to the frame rail if you weld something solid across all 3 legs (assuming you have a 4dr) then how would you remove the rock rails if you "had" to remove them at one point in time ? A better Idea would be to create panels that would bolt in between each frame leg that could be removed in the event you needed to remove the sliders.
