My very first mod was LoD Rock Rails. I was a little concerned about the price, but once I got them on the Jeep, I knew that I made a good investment. I've hit them hard a couple of times...these things won't budge. I haven't regretted spending the cash on them at all.

Awesome advice! I will have to save up for the LoD. I like the looks of the off road evolutions though. Thinking that if I tear up my tube steps a little I can justify this expense!

I had planned to buy the LoD's until I saw the ACE Engineering rails. I know there are some differences + & - to both. My concern with the ACE Rails is only 2 mounts. When I asked if anyone has Crawled with them yet I only got a response of "they are sturdy & can hold over 250#". But how about a JKs weight teetering on a rock?

Anyone have this answer? If they are good, that will leave close to $500 in my pocket to empty into other purchases.

They (ACE) are adding a third mounting bracket.

PureJeep rockers are pretty stout, body mounted and have a step.

(disclaimer: I am selling a set due to my wanting to go in a different direction).

Default LoD Rock Sliders

I just installed my LoD sliders. Those things are awesome! They will support the full weight of the the JK. They do provide the step that you are asking about as I was also wanting that.

They have a nice angle on them and will protect from the stray car door in the parking lot if you are at all worried about that on your JK

Here are pics of my 2 door version

Here are the A.C.E rails on my rubi. I needed them for my little one to be able to get in and wanted to keep the factory slider as well. This fit the budget.
