My very first mod was LoD Rock Rails. I was a little concerned about the price, but once I got them on the Jeep, I knew that I made a good investment. I've hit them hard a couple of times...these things won't budge. I haven't regretted spending the cash on them at all.

Awesome advice! I will have to save up for the LoD. I like the looks of the off road evolutions though. Thinking that if I tear up my tube steps a little I can justify this expense!

I had planned to buy the LoD's until I saw the ACE Engineering rails. I know there are some differences + & - to both. My concern with the ACE Rails is only 2 mounts. When I asked if anyone has Crawled with them yet I only got a response of "they are sturdy & can hold over 250#". But how about a JKs weight teetering on a rock?
Anyone have this answer?
If they are good, that will leave close to $500 in my pocket to empty into other purchases.
Anyone have this answer?

I just installed my LoD sliders. Those things are awesome! They will support the full weight of the the JK. They do provide the step that you are asking about as I was also wanting that. ![Yup](https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/yup.gif)
They have a nice angle on them and will protect from the stray car door in the parking lot if you are at all worried about that on your JK![ROTFLMAO-2](https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/cheesy.gif)
