Need help picking a lift
I recently put 35s on my jeep and I need a little more than my level. I am wanting to go about 2.5 inch lift but I run into the issue of having a bumper. I have a smittybilt src gen 2 with a winch which is pretty heavy and says the stock rubicon shocks I have now. What would be the best way to go? I am looking to stay under 400. Thanks

A coil spacer lift with shocks extensions should be doable. You don't have to buy a full kit and can just buy the pucks. If you are getting a lot of sag up front look for a 2" puck up front and maybe a 1" in the rear. Once you get the height you want you may need longer sway bar links and shock extensions to regain the factory travel.
Without a bigger budget then $400 this is going to be about all you can do.

I've been looking at doing a teraflex lift or s rough country coil lift both with shocks from either of them. Is that a good way to go

Look at it this way.....aside from doing a puck lift.....you get what you pay for. If you spend $400 on a full lift kit...you're going to get that kind of quality. Suspension on a Jeep is NOT where you want to penny pinch just too make it look pretty sitting in the mall parking lot. TeraFlex is a reputable company with lots of experience. The only downside is their springs tend to sag after a while. At least from what I've read in the past and heard from others. Still a great manufacturer. Rough Country....not so much. They're inexpensive for a reason. Just something to keep in mind. Do your research. Read what others have done and what they happy with. Consider your primary usage for your Jeep. Daily driver with little offroad? Trailerd rig on multiple trips to Moab, Colorado, etc.? Fire roads? Rocks? Mall parking stops? All things you need to really consider when choosing how to build out your rig. Why do you need a lift? Clearance for larger tires? Can achieve the same effect by taking a cuttoff wheel to the factory flares. Costs you a couple hours worth of work and a few beers. Read Dirtman's thread on lifts and go from there. He's sort of the resident lift expert round these parts.

The coils will stand up to the weight of that front bumper and winch and your ride will improve. It is a bit more than you're budgeting for, but it is a whole lot more bang for the buck than a budget boost that uses spacers.
If you aren't ready for shocks, I can set you up with shock extensions for front and rear instead and do it all for $475 all in. (Bilsteins are included in our package deals at a cost of $300, so this kit is selling for $400.)
It is "discontinued" because RK has gone back to including sway bar disconnects instead of fixed links and added the rear track bar bracket back to it. If you or anyone else reading this wants that setup, it is $875 with Bilstein 5100s.
