Need help how to re gear!
I have a 4" lift on my 4dr jk. It's a stick. And I have 37 tires on it. And my question is, I want to re gear mine. But not sure about how to do it? And what gear I should re gear it to?? Please if you have any answers it will be appreaceated! =)

Start with the drivetrain FAQ's at the top of this modified area. Go out and measure your tires and plug in the numbers.
You will need gears and an overhaul kit for both axles. (an install kit can be used on low mileage axles, but you are better off with the overhaul kits for the new bearings)
And then move on to these for info on the install:

Most will suggest 5.13's for a manual on 37's. You can get by with 4.88's. And if you have a rubicon, you can go to 5.38's if you want the extra power and don't spend a lot of time at high speeds on the freeway, or plan on moving up past 37's.
