Been installing D2s and E20" Rigid Industries bar today. Assembled everything on the hood connected wires to the switches and battery and all worked, yes both D2s and bar was working no problem. So, I started running wires around the engine bay and into the cabin. Went to the RadioShack to get some wires to elongate wire for the E bar inside of the cabin to run it to the driver side pillar. Connect everything back, nothing works!!!!!!! I even went back and cut the wires at the point where I have elongated them, connected switch to the E bar and to D2s, none working!!!! When I put key in the ignition and turn it into first position I hear clicking noises from the engine. However, Jeep starts ok, its lights comes up normally. I thought I crossed some wires, so I took all of the light and winch wires from the battery, still same result, some clicking from the engine when I turn key to first position.
What could that be? I am fkn desperate!

If you have a multimeter, check the switch first. Put the leads on each leg and turn meter to check resistance. Turn the switch on and off. You should read zero ohms and O.L. That verifies the switch is good.

If that's good, than put the wires directly onto the battery leads and see if the lights come on. If they don't, you likely have an open in the wire and it's time to return those expensive mutha lickers.

Don't have multimeter, but I tried three different switches.

Did you check the inline fuse in the wiring? You might of popped it some how

Two of them? On D2 and on E bar? I have not checked them, but it's unlikely to blow both, no?

These are must have tools if you plan to do electrical work.A test light a clip on one end and pointed holder with a light bulb inside on the other.Clip to chassis ground and probe the other end for battery positive

Did you hook up relays or is everything connected straight to the battery?
