I know this is supposed to be an "easy" install, but last night I was installing the 1"PA BL and everything was going ok until I started tightening down all the bolts. The bolts behind the front wheel wells on both side will not go back in...I'm not sure why it just seems that the bolt won't catch on the threads or something, but for the life of me I can't get them in.
All the other bolts went in fine. I'm gonna go back to the shop tonight and try to loosen everything and go tighten again, but I don't think that will help.
Anyone have any ideas!? Thanks

The original bolts had clips on them....did you remove them?
Also...2 of the bolts on the new kit are bigger than the rest....They should go on the rear 2...they won't fit the other holes...
other than that I am lost.....

i had trouble with one of the rear ones, i had to loosen them all back up and nudge the body around a little bit enough for it to catch the nut. IIRC the captive nuts arent welded in? It took me a few tries to get it started, but it went. I am pretty sure there was another member with a similar problem, I'll see if i can find the thread.
Edit: Good point on the clips.

The clips were on top of the factory mounts. When you pryed the originals out that popped the clips off, they need to be removed. If they didn't fall out they could be blocking the new bolts from going in.

Interesting, I didn't see any clips at all, I'll go back and check when I loosen all the bolts, but its odd if that is the case why did everything else go in perfect?
