Need help
Hola, my peeps with Jeeps!
Looking for someone with a computer to reprogram my shift points and any other specs that would enable me to get better performance since I put larger tires.
Dealer won't do it.
Don't want to spend for programmer when I don't foresee long term need but an willing to provide beer for service.
Location is Long Island, NY.
Thanks.

All of the programmers/tuners get VIN-Locked to a specific vehicle. Anyone who lent you one would be un-programming their vehicle and basically 'giving' you theirs.
Just a guess, but your beer isn't anywhere near that good...

This is not 'adding a second jeep', it is removing the stored parameters of the first jeep. The original owner can no longer use it since it is now VIN locked to the second jeep, so basically the second person just bought the unit for $100
