Shouldn't be a problem. As a gen rule of thumb, a 2.5" kit will get you 35s, a 4" kit will get you 37s and a 6" kit will get you 40s.

So....would a two inch be enough you think?

Maybe with limted to zero up travel.

I have 6" of lift and run 38's. With rim offset, a decent amount of trimming and some uptravel limitation they work fine. I cannot run 40's on my jeep without cutting my uptravel quite a bit.

A short 37" tire will allow someone with less lift to run the tires as well.

I ran 5" of lift with true 37's and they cleared everything just fine. 38's and 40's were much more work (and more expensive).

Rim height won't matter.

Tire overall height, tire width, rim width and offset will be what you want to understand so far as rubbing. Differences in these areas will make a big difference.

Most people run 8" wide rims with a 4" (or zero) offset. Larger offsets stick tires out, smaller or negative offsets pull tires in. For example, I run a 9.75 wide rim and a 3.5" backspace. This means my rim actually sticks out further than a zero offset (which would be 4.375" backspace).

Hope this helps.

Should be fine if you have 4.5"-4.75" backspacing.

I have the Teraflex performance leveling kit and 1.5" wheel spacers on my JKU with 35x12.50 BFGs. You will have to trim the fenders and the pinch seam if you are going to do any serious off-roading. Or you could use longer bumpstops. You will be fine on the highway though.
