Daily driver with a lot of winter weather? You're least expensive option will be a Detroit TrueTrac. You may want to bypass the automatics, so the next step up will be one of the selectables, which start around $850 + whatever else may be needed. (air source, labor to run the cables, etc.). Of these, ARB has the best name, but some folks up north complain about frozen air lines, so do some research.

You'll find some good background info here:

I absolutely love my OX selectable. Completely bulletproof. American made. and all that BS about difficult cable set up is just that.....BS. If you know how to do it it's easy and permanent.

Selectables are good for the front, because you can still do tight turns on the trail. I run ARB, front and rear, love em.

I think I'm leaning toward the truetrac now since it is my daily driver and I am on the road 95% and off road only 5%, hopefully it will give me that added traction I need for that 5% lol thanks for the help

Anyone running the Auburn Gear ECTED? I have a 2008 auto also and interested. Seems like a good idea having a limited slip for everyday driving and then locker when you activate it.

Thoughts?
