need advice fast!! teraflex 3" lift
im putting on my TF 3" lift right now. Do we have to permently remove the skid plate/cross member form the trans? the drive shaft hits it at full drop. INstrutction say to remove plate but the cross member is welded to it.

I believe you do not have to remove it permanently. You will have to either trim the skid or get aftermarket shafts to avoid the contact. I think doojer put a 1" spacer on his skid to help it clear the front DS.
