Need 1.5-2" lift suspension for 4door Rubicon
Hi,
I would like to get opinions about brands of suspension kits for the Rubicon. We are looking to get about 1.5 or max 2" inch lift for the 4 door JK since this Jeep it's not just used for off road trips , also race in some off road events where we need a litle more stiff suspension and clearance of the ground.
Would like to get coil springs and shocks.
Any idea or suggestion it's appreciated.

If you are going to be using your Jeep to race and for a lot of off road trips, then I would suggest a heavy duty off road suspension kit. This means you want something with springs and shocks to replace the existing original springs and shocks which would not hold up to any amount of abuse for very long.
The problem is your not going to find many heavy duty suspension kits that are only 1.5" to 2". Most of the spring lifts are going to start at 2.5" and go up from there. The only way to get 1.5" to 2" would be to get whats called a budget boost to put on top of the stock springs. Then get some aftermarket shocks and you would be set for a small amount of lift.
Here is a link to get you started looking at some different options - http://www.northridge4x4.com/products.php?cat=262
