the 4:1 (not 4.1) TC ratio is only for 4L. If you also have 4.10 gears, that's a different thing.

I did the exact same thing and it doesn't show 3.73 as an option but my vin was looked up by a dealer and mine is said to have 3.73 (2013 jku rubicon auto) my head is spinning

Well...we might be the victim of being an early adopter. I'll have to do some investigating.

We actually bought ours off of a lot before they could be ordered. By about a month or so. Basically Jeep built them and sent them to select dealerships. The way I understand it they just showed up on the trucks. I am absolutely positive ours has 3.73 gears however.

<We should've bout the white one that was setting right next to ours with the 4.10s>

My 14 Rubicon x I had to get the 4.10 as an option. Manuals come standard with the 4.10. Auto you pay extra.

That sucks you got the shaft! I got lucky when I found out my X has 4.10's.

I personally think you'll be ok with 35's and 3.73. I'm running 37's on the 4.10. I know quite a few people with 35's and 3.73's. If it's intolerable for you then just upgrade gears then.

I almost bought a '13 JKUR with the 3.73's without knowing it, but luckily that Jeep sold before the dealer could get it delivered so I ended up with a '13 JKUR with the 4.10's and put 35's on couple months later and IMO 4.10's are perfect for 35's.

Yeah! I'm gonna get a vin check and see what it says. Super weird. I purposely found one with 3.21 gears because I planned on putting in 4.88's right away and didn't see a point in wasting the money.

Just email Jeep and ask for your build sheet. Go to their website and contact them via email. Put your vin number in and you'll probably have it the next day.
