My report...
... just had my JK returned with the following done.
1) Trailmaster 5 inch susp. lift
2) 37's
3) full size spare. (Best Top tire carrier, no bumoer mounted system, its great!)
OK, here's the report. I am truely amazed at the ride quality. This lift kit only supplies new front springs, the spring rate is what I was nervous about. Not knowing if it would be to stiff or to soft. They are pretty right. Nice happy medium. It retains stock geometries as it only drops down the stock control arms. NO ESP light BS to deal with have cornered rather hard on the gas waiting for what others have complained about, ESP kicking in. This lift kit was so cheap I was afriad to use it, I have had them before with terrible results (Rough Country blows). This lift was exactly $380. lol
The only thing I can complain about is I have full size 37 inch spare. It weighs enough to drop the rear about 3/4's of an inch and if you looked really close it would seem a little lower in the rear. Cornering hard enough rubs a little in the wheel wells. not bad at all though, but enough for me to look into getting spacers for the spacers already supplied to lift the rear.
Either than that. AWESOME ride quality. I have had 4 Jeeps now and all lifted. This Trailmaster rides as good as stock.
Worth it if your not looking to climb mountains! Pics to soon follow. I only know how to use the camera phone. I dont have a digital camera. Not interested in them. I like to be the one doing (getting the pic taken) cant stand taking pics of others. So i dont own one! lol
Question for the technically advanced here. The spacers that go on top of my stock rear springs, can 3/4 inch spacers be added so I can get th rear back up a bit and keep my spare?!
I will have some for you ASAP though. You wil really dig it. The Jeep came out awesome.

lol, again Im smarter than I look, but the rear springs are stock, it just has a massive spacer for each side. I really want to get that little clearance lost from the spare tire weight back. What would some suggest?
The from arms that I guess are called control arms are still stock, just a big bracket that drops them down so the same stock angle is acheived, what I was told. Again, it rides really really well. Rather plush actually.

I'm skeptical about the spacers, i'd really like to see pics! It would also help anyone willing to suggest adding more spacers to see whats on there now...as for the rear being low, if you plan on running a steel bumper or winch then that will certianly even things out...

I'd be very wary of running 2 spacers, one on top of the other. Tha's just asking for something to slip while flexing. Perhaps purchasing longer rear springs would solve the problem. If 2 spacer are to e used they would need to be fused together just right and with what I really don't know. But the current spacers that you are using that came with the kit, must be very long...I'm thinking instability perhaps. I remeber reading quite recently here that someone had a spring slip off his spacer. I would hate to see a spring come off of a 5" spacer. I was recently considering this kit but after some digging around I found that it is really only for looks. I still want to see you Jeep, I bet she looks great!

i'm sure i'm a complete idiot, but....a 5" lift, without a longer coil in the rear, just a 5" spacer, with all oem control arms and track bars, and 37" tires.....that just barely fit....i think you're just asking for trouble, but that's just me.
hey, you did this, why not throw another 3/4" spacer in there.....
edit....
just looked on the trailmaster website....this lift doesn't gives you 5 inches in front and rear. it only gives you 3 inches in the rear, but still 5 inches in front....fishy.
that could be part of the problem.

right on, thanks for pointing that out in the chart. It is not a 5 inch spacer on the rear, its like 3 inches. Regardless I wonder why the chart says that or why they would do that. I understand in the other responses about flexing, but that just would not be the case. I mean, lol, call me what you want, but I just dont have time to even go off road, let alone get out and take a pic of my jeep being a contortionist! I think it's great others have time though and love seeing everyone enjoying their JK a bit more than mine. Maybe some sand when at the beach and snow when going back north, about all.
SO, hmmm, I'll call Trailmaster tomorrow, but again I will get pics up ASA I can.
Thanks for everyones input.

For now until it is feasable, we have decided to go with stiffer and 2 inch longer springs from another kit for the rear sagging issue. Saving up for the Rock Krawler 5.5, so till then.... lol
Thanks for everyone's input and the pics will be up soon.

Just got off the line with Trailmaster and they are cool to talk to and have had a handful of calls about the rear sagging. They are currently making new springs or products to counter the sagging issue.
