I've drive a new rubicon an comparing it to my 3.8 I really don't notice a huge difference. An both are 6spd. At least for me cause if it was such a massive difference I would of bought a new one but couldn't see dropping that kinda money for a minimal gain.

If it were me I would def supercharger the 3.6

Still in the works.....trying to decide wether to build up my D30/d44 or to buy the built up D44's with 4.88 or 5.13 gears....

some of the smittybilt stuff is a little hit or miss but for the 300+ dollars you save over the comprditors next closest thing i dont mind busting out the grinder for an hour or so to make it fix exactly how i want. Its a trade off. if you want somthing that fits exact always the first time spend more and get the other brand. if you dont mind spending some time to make it fit perfect get smitty and save some money at the cost of a little fitment time.

Semper if brother....yeah we've been all over the island.....it's been rough tho with all the new restrictions...

Thanks....I just liked the look of the smittybilt stuff, but am definitely open to similar suggestions....I'm looking at poison spider too....
