My build thread
Just bought my first jeep a 2012 black 4 door manual, with 50,000km on it. I got a bunch of parts ordered anything i should be careful with or any suggestions? Or anything im missing besides new drive shafts or gearing?
-6.5" BDS lift with dual steering stabalizer and fox 2.0 shocks
-5x 37"x12.5 toyo open country
-5x 17x9 BMF navakane death metal wheels
-smittybilt XRC Armor fenders, SRC Stinger bumper, rear XRC bumper with ajustable tire mount
-50"led combo light bar with poison spyder windsheild mount
-2x rigid D2 white driving led with a-pillar mounts
-XRC 12000 lbs winch

Yep, consider cancelling that lift and ordering a 3-3.5". Should be plenty of room with those smitty flares.
If you decide to keep the huge lift, consider not installing the drop pitman and finding a flip instead. Keeping the stock axles?

If you're going from stock tires to 37s you'll want to regear, you'll also need some kind of programmer to adjust for tire and gear change, for 12 and newer jk's an exhaust spacer or new crossover pipe to keep front drive shaft from hitting exhaust.

I had a model jeep i was fallowing the build thread a bit, with some research and help from my buddy at the dealership, i had to chose between a teraflex 4" lift or a BDS 6,5". The bds only requires 10hr labour so its a bit cheaper.
Ill try out the stock 4:10 gearing for a while if its too hard ill regear. And the salesman at the dealership said i could keep the stock drive shaft but they would be maxed out.

But since im manual im shure i can pull off without regearing for a while? Ill have to try it out before saying. And yah ive been looking for a programmer.

Yah keeping the axles stock, what do you mean by a flip?
