Ok well after a good amount of time i finally got the wallet for my Build. So far this is my shopping cart...Havn't hit the register quite yet though.

4" Superlift with Bilstein 5100 Shocks

36" SS TSL radials

15x10 ProComp Rock Crawler Rims

As money Builds back up i will be adding Adj. control arms and such.....

What do you think and does anyone see a problem with this working out? I am not doing Fenders quite yet. Who thinks ill need to trim?

4" lift and 36's... you should be ok. You might need to trip the pinch seam in front of the rear wheel well, but otherwise i think you'll be just fine.

Skids skids skids skids.....

If you are running terrain that calls for 36" tires you had better invest in skids and an Evap Can Relocate kit!

If you're running deep mud, you just don't know what might be in there and if you're running rocks, well, you get the picture.

Skids!

Touche....good points. This is just my start up, im doing a simple kit with the high i want so i can build it up right. I didnt want to jump into a kit and then have to replace all the stuff i just got.

The one thing that really worries me is the Tires.....What do u guys think? The radials footprint is kind of Narrow. Its 12.5 wide but the tread width is actually just 9

If this thing gets driven on the street at all I wouldn't go up to 36s without regearing. I also think 36s on a 15" rim will give you too much sidewall and most people wouldn't like the negative effects on handling which would result. I would just save some coin and keep your stock rims.

Other than that, your build-up looks pretty good! You shouldn't need to trim at all.

You make a very good point. I was so distracted by how terrible his power loss would be with 36s and stock gears that I completely forgot about the need for longer driveshafts. I guess if his driveshafts don't reach then he won't have any power at all, will he now...

uhhhh.... with that kind of an objective, you have a laundry list of things to consider.

First off - Why TSL's???? there are 15 other types of tyres I'd take over TSL's in a heartbeat. They are rarely round, they have bad road manners and don't last long. If your objective is to wheel the p!ss out of the rig, then OK, but then you get into the next items.

Anything over 33's you NEED to be setting aside $1200+ for gears. You'll be miserable w/o them.
Then take another $700 for driveshafts - just a matter of time
You'll also need a hi-lift jack for getting a flat off the ground.
Skids and sliders are a good point as well.
Stock bumpers are junk... as are stock lights. Don't wheel at night and count on Chysler's pathetic lighting.

The Rubi sliders are just fine, 1/4" thick on the bottom, 1/8" thick on the sides, only reason I'm changing mine out to my own designed customs (similar to Poisons) is just to give my teen daughters a place to step when getting in and out.

I have a question though, the 15" rims I didn't think would clear our rotors/calipers on the fronts. I wouldn't want 15" rims anyway but still didn't think they would clear on a Rubi.

Like the others have said, you'd be better off waiting until you have the $$$ for gears, adjustable arms, and driveshafts if you're going 4" and 36's or bigger. This is even more important on the 2 door.

x2 on the Swampers. If this is a daily driver, I'd run another tire. And if you do get Swampers, I wouldn't bother with the radials (unless you mean the SSR's). They cost alot more and don't ride much better. Plus, they're not as good offroad.

In your situation, I would either:

1-Keep it stock until you've saved for everything

2-Put on a b.b. and 33's or 34's and some sliders while you save.

I chose option 2.
