My baby got new shoes today!
Just got back from Oconee offroad, where they fitted her, for some awesome new rubber shoes - Went with the MT Baja MTZ in 33's (305/60 R18 - I went with the 33's because I really couldn't handle too much more height and not need a ladder to get into it), we also added a 1.5 inch wheel spacer, to bump them out and give it a wider stance. I am STOKED on how it came out! Now if it would only stop raining for longer than two days at a time, so I can go out and play!

thanks! The 'doors' are pretty much like having duck tape on the opening for rainy days -- not saying that I wouldn't do them again, but, Bestop could do a better job at fitment. I have to keep towels inside to put at the bottom of the doors because there is a HUGE gap at the bottom. When they come, you have to be patient and bend, flex, and bend again, to even get them to close and latch. Not for nothing but, the door jams are ALL the same on the JK's,,,IMO - the doors should come ready to be hung on the side of the Jeep and off you go,,,,not the case frustrating to say the least,,,,

Nice rubber! I just put new a set of MTZs on mine yesterday. I am not usually a fan of polished wheels, but I really like yours.
Thanks for the mini review of the doors. Kind of lame they don't fit right. I thought they would be a cheap alternative to the real half doors. It never really rains where I live, so I would be alright with the leaks.

They actually are -- but cheap is a good description -- HOWEVER -- it beats taking the factory doors on and off all summer or staying home on rainy days. Not wanting to do either, the doors are really the ONLY solution - and for the money - like I said, I'd do it again. Bestop seems to be faltering in the QC department - have had many of their products and have had a problem with each and every one. But, when your're the only one in the game, for certain items, you gotta bite the bullet and just go for it, or live with the alternative of hauling a heavy ass door, off and on all summer -- I only had a 3" lift on my '07 and they were difficult to get on and off, I cannot imagine how much fun it's gonna be getting the doors back on, with the 4" lift and the bigger tires. (I'm only 5ft tall,,,)
*The new Factory Sahara wheels looked so nice that I kept them - I painted the center caps and added the lugs to make them more "mine" - very happy with them! If I get tired of them later on, I'll paint them black!

I didn't realize that was what the new Sahara wheels looked like. I guess I have not seen any 2013 Saharas yet. (I would paint the lug nuts black, but that's cuz I am a dude).
I agree about Bestop quality control. My bikini top sucked! Got a one foot long tear along the seam the first time I put it on. Sent it back and got a DD shade instead.
