I did the same but got some clamps and mounted it myself. I lost a little low end but that's what 4-Lo is for.

I had a Dynomax, 17263, Ultra FLow Polished Muffler welded in place of the resonator. I then had it dumped before the rear axle. Love the sound, not too loud and no drone.
