Default muffler search

I'm shopping for a new exhaust... I wanted the gibson dual, but I get a lot or comments for the unit being to loud...
I'm basically looking for a cool sound with perhaps a few ponies...

What do you guys recommend ?

I have the MBRP off-road system that relocates the muffler before the rear axle. I think it sounds pretty good. They also have a cat back system that keeps the muffler in the stock location.

if you want a good sound, run with no muffler . MBRP is quiet per my taste. there is a sound clip thread on here. i'll link my sound thread for ya on the MBRP vs no muffler.

I have the MBRP stock location cat back exhaust, love the sound, never get tired of it. My son commented after we finished the install, "Now it sounds the way a Jeep should sound." I'd say the video clip on their website is pretty accurate in presenting the sound of the system.

you won't gain much (maybe at best a few hp, but nothing you can feel) only sound...

Default Mbrp

I had MBRP cat backs on my last two vehicles and will be doing the same to my Jeep. I think their website is very accurate on tones - they are just great exhausts. I also like Borla. Can't say much for Gibson and the last Magnaflow I had rusted up so bad - low grade stainless. I think the MBRP black is pretty sweet.

Rear muffler system:

Offroad relocation system:

While our gains are modest, the JK's seem to be pretty sensitive to modifications. We made power through out the RPM. We are very happy with both the sound and performance of both of our cat-back options. Feel free to call me if anyone has any questions.
