Muffler delete.
Dose anyone run with no muffler with the 3.6. Dose it affect anything. Did you extend the tail pipe. Is the check engine light on. If you do, do you have any pictures.

I got a 2010 and I took the muffler off.I left the pipe the same and it ran pretty good. No problems at all. I recently bought a flow master exhaust from auto zone and did a turn down pipe. You shouldn't have any problems though

I had my muffler off my 2012 for about 2 months. To be honest I didn't notice any difference in the low end but I did in the mid to high range. I have since had a shop make me a custom cat back with a resonator delete and a flowmaster super 44 in the stock location tucked way up there out of the way. Now for sound, I grew up riding in a modded chevy 6.0L with open glass packs so I didn't get my hopes up on getting a sound close to that. The straight pipe wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. At idle to about 2800 rpm it sounded pretty decent, after that it got a little raspy but it was livable considering it was a free change. No code thrown and I did not run it back. Now for my current system. I had alot of people say that I would not be happy with this system and that I would regret not putting in a resonator. I went with my gut and I'm glad. I wanted loud and that what I got. The straight pipe was pretty loud but this is louder. I usually don't have passengers in my back seat but when I do it is somewhat hard to have a conversation with them. Its loud enough to turn heads but not loud enough to annoy me. As for the muffler, it sound almost like a v8 at idle into the low rpms then it starts to have a unique sound, it almost starts to sound like a v8 or mustang. I like it because it does not get ricey throughout pretty much all of the rpm range. As for performance, well others were wrong, I feel like it is better all through the rpm range especially in the low end. I love it. It's well worth it. For $200 and I sound like no other I'm glad I did. I also like how I can manipulate how it sounds with my auto wether I want it to pop a ton on decell or make it smooth. One of my favorite mods and well worth it.
