just installed the Dynomax 39516 on my 2010 JKU.

as we all know, hangers were a b*atch. Not sure about any other evap skids, but the only way i could make it work with my Poison Spyder was to cut a notch to fit the hanger.

hangs a little low for my taste, but no issues on the rocks in the NC mountains over the weekend.

as for the sound...eh...i guess its what i expected out of a v6. sound great on start up. only a slight drone around 60+mph but only if you're paying attention.

Discoloration on a stainless exhaust means poor interior insulation construction. PERIOD
the exterior walls get excessive heat causing it to discolor. That's perfectly ok if it's not for show like motorcycles.
If it's under the vehicle then who cares!
It won't rust and it sounds just fine.

Just a quick question....
Was the plastic protective wrap removed from the muffler before install, by chance?

Good call! The muffler shop apparently didn't notice that when they installed it. I guess it will just burn off eventually, right? Or would you recommend I try to peel it off now...

As stated it will burn off but if you can grab some of it off when it is cooled down, go for it!
