which mud terrrains do i get?
hey im ready for bigger tires (35) and have done some online research but i cant find a whole lot of information on how the mud terrains do in mud (ironic) everything i read is about rock crawling. i live in georgia so im in red clay all the time (no such thing as rocks here) and i want a tire that performs better than the km1s i have now. bottom line... im looking for a strong tire with a long tread life and good bite in mud. thanks for the help

I have medalist mud kings from summit racing. I love em. they are noisy on the highway, but they have yet to let me down. I only play in mud, rocks cause to much damage and to much money to repair. I have gotten into some narly stuff, a few have gone with me on the trail here and they can attest to what my rig will do. They clean out real easy, just step on the gas and spin em. Good on road traction. when I am cleaning mud out of em on the trail, I cover the roof of my jeep with mud that comes down about 10 seconds after I stop. Rather funny.
The medalist mud kings are 139 a peice from summit for 35's. Really can't go wrong with that price.

i have no experience with the new km2's but found that the older style km's worked very well. even better than that, i have run trxus mt's and they worked extremely well at clearing out their tread in sticky mud. however, they are a tough tire to balance.

I picked up km2s yesterday because they seem to be the best deal going right now. they used to be much more expensive than anything else, but not so anymore. I think I'd be happy with any of the M/T style tires, from nitto to toyo to procomp to MT. I just went for the best deal.

I guess I will be the one to stand out from the crowd, i have played in that red clay S&*T before and that crap is sticky......I say go old school and own the clay, get yourself a set of Deneman Ground Hawgs.
