I know you said on jeep, but what if my Powerstroke didnt destroy them i think a jeep would be ok.
I had a set of 35s on it first for 40 miles and sold them to someone else who is driving on them now.
I liked them enough i put 37s on it this time. They are loud. Its loud like your vehicle sounds like prop on an airplane diving from the sky! My brother can hear me about 2 miles from the town i live.

I also am on my second set of trail on the JK. First set we bought in 2011 and put 41xxx miles on them. they were 295/70/18. Wore really nice and they are off in the garage with 6-8/32nds tread remaining. So i could have probably gotten 45000+ out of them. Got a awesome deal on a set of 37s so we did that or i would have put Mud grapplers on this round.

Also i wasnt a crazy tire maintenance guy....i rotated probably have as many times as i should have

Also, and I like this fact is the Nitto MUD grapplers and Nitto TRAIL grapplers that i have had all say MADE IN USA on the tires.......The Nitto Terras are Japan

I have only had mud grapplers and Gy MTRs on my jeep. I liked he MTRs, but once I put the mud grapplers on, it was immediately a better experience for me. For daily road driving, I think the mud grappler rides smoother, absorbs bumps and imperfections much better, and tracks straighter despite it's tread pattern and width.

Yes, they are noisy, but I can still use the UConnext Bluetooth to talk on my phone when driving at hwy speeds. It's more of a hum, not an obnoxious noise - to me. I would be irritated much more about something rolling around in the back or a squeaking sound coming from underneath the jeep - if that makes sense?

Off road there isn't much difference in the two, both are great off road.
