Got rid of my 35 MTR's after 3 years of battling shimmy and death wobble and spending $$$ on parts and balancing. I now have brand new Toyo 37's smooth as glass, rides softer and no more shimmy! MTR's Suck!!!!i
I had no idea how rough riding my Jeep was until I got rid of the Goodyears.

Well, it sucks for you that you got a rotten apple, because my MTR's are great, without any issues.

Like someone else said, they balance fine when done by a pro. Town Fair Tire mounted my 37s with dynabeads and they run great.

Find someone with a hunter machine. One thing that I have noticed is if your rig is very heavy they are not good tires. The service description on the 35s are bad, not too sure on the 38s. The lighter I was, the better they ran. I have since gone to nittos and will never go back to MTRs.
Which Nittos did you go with?
