Buying these wheels with 35 MTZ Tires my question is ..... My last wheels Pro Comp 7005 series I used Gorilla Lugs Acorn style which worked but after time chewed up the cast black on the inside of the wheels (bolt holes), even using thin walled sockets. Should I get the gorilla Spline drive with my new MT Classics? Or stay with the acorn style?
Thx

I moved to Splined just for that reason. I use them on my stock aluminum wheels also.

I had to google gorilla spline drive, that's a sweet setup.

Yeah, I love gorilla lugs but was weary about getting the spline drive for fear of them not being as strong as the acorn style but thats the route I'm going with my new wheels after seeing what the acorn style (well socket actually) did to my Old Pro Comps.

Try the mcgard wheel nuts and locks they look good plus they have a blocker to keep the socket off the wheel. These are the ones i am running
