Default MPGs will this help!!?!?!?!

I have an 07 2door x 3.5 inch lift with 33 11x50s . It is a 6 speed and I still have about 300 dollars left from Christmas and I want to put a col air intake and a throttle body spacer in my jeep to hopefully get my MPGs up. I don't know too much about engines , will this be worth the money or should I spend the 300 on something else ??? Advice is appreciated

With the right chip, you can change the fuel mapping and thus, consume less fuel. Also, keep revs below 2k. And don't drive above 70. 60-65 is the good zone for mpgs. Although, you may get some flamey comments because jeeps aren't meant for good mpgs.

get a tuner and IMO dont spend any money on a TB spacer. they cost to much and give little to nothing back for it

Save your money....cold air intake and TB spacers offer little to no performance gains.

Like others have said a programmer would be money well spent...just don't expect major gains in the MPG department....you still drive a big square box down the road

Superchips all the way. Throttle body spacer is biggest waste of $$ and cai will yield nothing noticeable.

programmer is going to be your best bet.

TB spacer is just cash down the drain.

CAI - probably not a true CAI and really, there is no gain from them (performance or fuel wise). Now if you are talking say a challenger/camaro or something......couple the CAI with some LT's, HFCs, and a good tune and you get the speed and maybe a tad better fuel mileage

Yeah I know I'm not going to get huge gains , but right now I get 210 miles per tank, which work out to about 13 miles per gallon and that's with probably 50 miles a week highway. The reason I'm looking for mods is because I want to go to a 35 inch tire from a 33 inch and I really don't want to get even worse mpgs

^^^yep I put a BB throttle body with spacer and new exhaust on my last Vehicle and I got worse MPG. But I think it was because I liked the sound when I got on the gas more... that probably diden't help.
