With the LS, you don't need 5.13 gears for any size tire. a 4.10 is MORE than enough. If I do it, I have a LS with 100,000 kms in my suburban now, I am going with 3.73s. I should gain a good amount of milage out of that compared to my 3.8. I am not doing it to be worried about the cost of gas, its more of how far I can go on a tank of gas.

This is just an update to info I posted earlier. I just ran a tank of fuel and I ran it at 1900 - 2200 rpms and I got 13.6 mpg's that is with the 5.13's which we are all agreeing to that they are to low. Just wanted to get more info on the 2000 rpm's idea.
