I just bought the skid row evap skid.
I can say as well, that is very beefy and seems really easy to install from the
directions.

I'm installing it this weekend.

I've had the Woods relocation kit on for about two years and have never had a problem. I decided to relocate after looking under my jeep and seeing a layer of dirt on the front of the canister from where I had been bulldozing some hills. A skid is probably fine for a two door, but my four door needed all the clearance it could get for breakover angles.

Wouldn't adding a skid also help protect your rear drive shaft?

It's situational. Depending on where the rock is hitting the skid, it could protect the drive shaft. It could also push the rock into the drive shaft. I'd call it a wash.

I've had mine relocated for about 3 years using Woods kit, never had any codes/issues and easy to do. To me skid plates add weight and reduce ground clearance, hence why I relocated mine.

So the poison spyder evap skid moves the evap upward? sounds cool, can some one tell me how that works?

Different mounting bracketbmoves it an extra inch - nice bonus to skid protection.

I did this. It just sits a little higher and rests on the skid.

I opted to move mine. I don't see why anyone would want to skid it where it is... a big tumor hanging down from your JK.
