TeraFlex - Spare Tire License Plate Mount Kit with Lug Nuts - Fits 2007 to 2015 Wrangler, Rubicon and Unlimited - 4WheelParts.com

Im looking for just two of these mounting lug nuts. I have searched the forum to see if it has been asked before and came up with nothing. I was thinking maybe just use a long open ended lug nut and just mount the license plate with a wheel stud but that just seems like it wont turn out right. It looks like the bolts that comes with the teraflex kit are a lot smaller than what a wheel stud would be. If i could find these i feel like i could relocate the plate a lot easier and cheaper than some of these $50-100 kits. TIA

 

Have you tried to call Teraflex to see if they can sell them to you? I've always had good luck when calling them for parts from their kits...just saying

 

I may have the items that you are looking for that I could sell. Came with my HD teraflex tire carrier. I didnt use them. I will have to check my toolbox to make sure i have them and get back to you. Soonest would be Saturday.

 

Awesome! I was planning on just welding a bolt to a normal lug nut but those look way cleaner.

You can make your own from any hardware store. Look in the threaded rod section. They sell coupling nuts thread size 1/2 -20.
