Default Mounting LT285/75/R16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs on stock 2dr JK wheels?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with putting these tires on the stock 2dr 2011 JK wheels? Just ordered a set, don't have the funds for wheels as well.

Smile I asked a similar question recently....

it seems that it's doable. I think a member just had those put on.

Not sure of the width of the 16" wheels on your Jeep. Goodyear suggest a 7.5" minimum rim width for LT285/75/R16 Wrangler Duratracs.

Others have put them on narrower rims

Thanks for the link - looks like it fits fine... site suggests 7.5", my wheels are 7".. 1/4 on each side shouldn't make too much of a difference. It's not optimal, but it'll do till I can get some new wheels.
