Default Mopar Winch Bumper

GOT MY MOPAR WINCH BUMPER THE OTHER DAY, GOT A GOOD DEAL FROM THE DEALER. I PAID $450.00 PLUS TAX. PRETTY EASY INSTALL, NOW I JUST NEED A WINCH.

I really like this bumper, would it be possible to measure the thickness of the steel? Also, do you have an idea on how heavy it is?

I just replaced the 15lbs rear bumper from LoD, but do not care for their front one, I like a full size bumper.

Nice! I have the same setup on my Red Rock Sahara! The install was pretty easy for me also. It took me about 4-hours installing the Mopar Front/Back Bumper and skid plate.

As for the KC's... Good Luck getting those fog lights to work with the OEM fog light switch (if those are your intentions). I had issues trying to get my KC Highlites to work with the stock fog light switch. It seems nothing higher than 42 watts works. I ended up putting the 42-watt bulbs and wiring from a pair of square Hella's into the KC housing.

Nice Bumper, I have one my self. Ed, and anyone else, the best thing to do is to use your factory switch to trip a relay that powers your lights, then you can run any watt you want. I went through the same issues. I am eventually going to mount some KC Slims on top, more inboard of where DC wants them, obviously.

Blkrubi, I Like How You Mounted Your Fogs. I Thought About Cutting Out The Ends Of The Crush Cans And Mounting Some There, Any Thoughts To This. I Have A Set Of Kc Daylighters That I Am Going To Try And Mount In The Middle Above The Fairlead. I'm Going To Try And Fab A Bracket That Sandwiches Btwn The Fairlead.

Thanks, I thought about the cruch cans, but in the end, it just seemed more practical to me to do what you see in the pics. If I had the ability, tools to weld, or somone that had both, I would have attempted to use the factory fogs, but I like how it turned out. No others like it that's for sure. Do you mean on the Hoop or the bumper it self? I plan on mounting some Slimlites a little farther outside of where you have yours sitting in the first pic.

how about you ask for a $30 rebate so you can buy a keyboard where "Caps Lock" is not always on.
