Mopar/Rubicon Express 4.5″ kit
I have tried to do a search to see if any members have any reviews or recommendations about this lift but have come up with nuthin. There is a lot of excitement about the news at the SEMA show.
But my question is, do any members have this lift already on their JK, and how do you like it ON and OFF road? Pro's and Con's requested.
Is it worth waiting for it, vs going with the FT or Superlift,... or other kit of similar size? I know each one has its fans.
Thanks in advance.

Not Out Yet?
I know that the Mopar packaging is "not out yet".
But the RE 4.5 inch longarm lift IS OUT, and my question is directed at anyone who has experience with it. According to the info from SEMA, it will be essentially the same kit that Moar will utilize.
Sorry if there was some confusion in my original post.

I'll tell ya this...with all the cost involved in a kit like this, I think A LOT of us would have been happier and richer if Mopar just slapped their name on a 2" kit ie. OME or a 3" kit ie. Full Traction for 1/3 the cost. Even with the Mopar mark-up most of us could swing it. It would also have a more realistic day-to-day application for the intermediate off-raod JK owner.
This kit is EXTREME in cost when you consider that to properly run 37's you would need new gearing as well. When all is said and done you are looking at 6K+ NOT INCLUDING THESE COMPONENTS BEING INSTALLED BY A "FACTORY TRAINED TECHNITION" to maintain what what is already a crap Warranty that it a lot of dealers won't stand behind anyhow.
This kit is going to go the way of the Warn coil over kit for the YJ, it'll be super cool for a bit and for the people who have tha cabbage to buy it. But, when all is said and done they'll end up on a bunch af trailer queens we look at for a half hour at Camp Jeep and the Off-Road Expo once a year.
That's my opinion and we all know what those are like...we all have 'em

I appreciate your frankness here, and i have to agree. That is really what my concern is about this.
The cost of having them do this and warranty the work/parts will probably be prohibitive to a degree, but most JK'ers would likely be able to get better equipment values by doing something else.
They will really have to make it competitive to make it work for most people.

Do dealerships make anything competative. They are going to make lots of money off of people who walk in and have not doen any research. They are going to have their crappy salesmen telling people this is the only way the warranty will not be voided. People will leave with a bad ass jeep of course but also with 6 thousand more added to their loan total. Then to beat it all they have a jeep that is way beyond their capabilities or nerve. Like it was said before most people driving these jeeps could do all the wheeling they want with a 2 inch bb and 33 inch mt's.

yeah im guessing 3000 or more for the lift, 3000 more for wheels and tires if you get 37's, then you are going to have to regear. Probably looking closer to 10 grand installed. One good thing is if there are guys out their with warrantied 37 inch tires breaking axle shafts how can they deny our warranty claims on 35 inch tires doing the same.

$3200 for the kit and that's from RE
$330 for the front CV (required for this kit)
$1000 for new gears
$2000 wheels/tires
PLUS WHO KNOWS WHAT THE INSTALL WOULD COST!
I would guess a minimum of 2K from the dealer just for the lift.
So, hypothetically you're lookin at $8500+
Who's in?????
