I appreciate all the responses. I’m sure u were all where I am. I just want the Jeep to be healthy and roll correctly. I think I need to let this stew for a while and plan something out and stick to it. Where are you guys all from I’m in jersey and would like to meet up with other people from the forum....As long as I don’t end up in a bathtub full of ice with no kidneys 😉

This is a 2" Mopar Lift (2011 version) on my 2012 with 285/75/17 BFG MT's. They changed the 2" lift in 2012, so I don't know if mine is the same height as the newer lifts though.

Go with 35s, or a 315 or you'll regret it later.

Go 35......315's were just shy enough to irritate me, and now my tires say 35 on the side.

Interested in hearing more of your thoughts on this. When I was originally shopping for my KO2s and just comparing specs, here's what I saw in regards to 35in vs 315.

So yeah, spec wise the 315 was .1in shorter but also .2in wider. Kind of splitting hairs but my thought at the time was that I rather have a slightly shorter 35 with slightly wider tread for our anemic 3.8L. Plus, I found the 315s cost less. For the KO2s you could also get the 315s in a C ply rating if that was important. The 35s were also 4lbs heavier just going by the specs, again considering the anemic 3.8L.

I parked my JK with 315s KO2s on it, right next to another with the 35 KO2s, and visually I could not tell a difference other than the printing on the outside of the tires.

Measuring sanity check on my 315s when new. (107 7/8in circumference @35psi)
