Default Mopar lift kits?

I was wondering if anyone uses the Mopar lift kits for the JKs? Can these be added into the price of a new JK? Who makes them for Mopar? Will the factory warranty still apply?
Thanks

rubicon express makes them and really, you'd be better of just buying it from them as it would be more affordable. as far as adding it to the price of your jeep, it all depends on your dealership. you should also note that just because you get it from your dealership DOES NOT mean that it won't void your warranty. so long as you continue to take your jeep back to the same dealership for work, you may be okay but, if you take it to another dealership, you may be out of luck.

But if you add it into the original loan and it didn't void your warranty that might be worth it.

according to chrysler, it would void your warranty. depending on your dealership, they may still honor it but, that is not to say that all dealerships would.

There have been numerous threads about this. The "mopar" lifts are actually just aftermarket lifts sold by mopar. Like the long arm mopar is the rubicon express, the 2" is made by superlift, etc. According to them adding even their lift can void portions of your warranty, but no lift will make your entire warranty void. If your power windows will not work and you have a 4" teraflex lift put on at a 4x4 shop they still have to cover your windows. If they will not cover an item they have to prove the aftermarket accessory caused the issue. Look up Magnuson-Moss warranty act and you will have a good grasp of what they can and cannot do legally speaking.

A problem some have had was dealerships "flagging" their jeeps because of modifications in the chrysler service computer system and then trying to deny service on warrantied vehicles. This has been challenged and the flag removed after some fighting with chrysler by some owners. http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk/chrysler-warranty-issues is a good place to read some of this info. Key thing seems to be to work with a dealership that is friendly to modified vehicles and to stay on their good side. If your local dealer sells jeeps that are lifted off of their lot like so many do it would seem a good indicator that they would be mod friendly.

It is really in the dealers best interest to continue to preform warranty work on your jeep since they do get payed for it, and they are payed the labor time it says in the book on repairs not actual time. To see you walk out the door and get it done somewhere else just hurts everyone involved.

RE shocks are made by Bilstein. Spring rate? Seriously? Proof on that if you have it, inquiring minds would like to know.

x2, and if your dealership claims they will warranty it at their location get it in writing. I have had many dealerships verbally claim they will warranty a Mopar performance product (like a lift) but as soon as you request it in writing they will not provide it.

i really dont have a dog in this hunt, but the Mopar lift comes with drive shafts, and the RE does not. I havent shoped or purchased drive shafts so not sure what they cost. Does addition of drive shafts account for price difference from RE to Mopar?

Drive shafts are hundreds of dollars.... I remember reading mopar lift kits had bad bushings and they crack and pack out really bad... So I've read....
