I received my PureJeep shackle mounts today and got them installed on the bumper. I installed some Hella 500s as well.

A couple questions..

How do the Pure Jeep shackles mount? Are there existing holes to just bolt them to?

How much does this way vs. shrockworks mid-with? Is this bumper lighter?

Two things:

1. Hellhound where in Westchester are you? I live in Somers lol

2. I second your question... Was welding involved? or are they bolt on?

Thanks

These are bolt-on. They use the same holes that are used for the tow-hooks. I just cut the Madona-cones off the bumper, grinded it flat and painted it. These come with their own mounting hardware as well. No welding!

and they are BEEFY!

As for the weight comparison, I'm not sure. This bumper is heavy, but not too bad. But, I have no idea what the Shrockworks' weigh. You should be able to find a spec sheet on both of them.

Which hood are you referring to, mine? If so, its the stock hood.

Default Bumper cover with off road bar?

Hi gang,

I need to know if the plastic dust cover that sits horizontally between the grill and the front bar, fits when the Mopar off road non winch bumper is fitted. Part number 82211716AB or 82210341. I'm thinking it does and the instructions suggest the same.

If so, it is easily installed once the bumper is on, but with the grill off, or should I put it in place before bolting on the front bar?

Other question, is it easy to get the grill off with this front bumper installed or does the hoop get in the way?

It's going to cost me around $220 with freight for this dust cover, hence I want to be sure it's a goer. The Euro/Australia dust covers are totally different and only work with the plastic bumper.

Regards to all, Dave.

Hold the phone! Are you talking about this part?

If so, let me answer your questions:
- yes, you can install/remove it with the bumper in place. I removed mine.
- yes, you can easily get the grill on/off with the Mopar bumper in place.

And best of all, are you seriously considering paying $220 for this part? If so, I will sell you mine MUCH less!!! Make me an offer.
