I also believe a saleman about as far as I can throw him. I've yet to meet one who wasn't just looking to make a sale. They will tell you ANYTHING to make a sale. The bottom line is, GET IT IN WRITING.

Wanna talk about over priced. Check this out.

My dealer was up front and told me that even if they did the lift, if it was found the lift caused an issue, it was not covered under warrenty. So I just installed a my own (3" Full-Traction).

Default Warranty

A lot of people want assurances,, but the dealer advice "if the lift causes the malfunction then the warranty doesn't cover it" is refreshingly honest. You are rolling the dice somewhat with a lift... but there are good kits and they rarely cause a problem inside a normal warranty period. To modify the addage..."you shouldn't play if you can't afford to pay".

You're right. Not an X, a "Sport". Same thing, only different.

I think they're 33's because when I saw them in person, they were slightly taller than the Rubicon's tires.

I asked the assistant service manager about lift kits and he said its a very grey area he said some service managers will and some will not warranty things he couldn't give me a straight answer and kinda was talking in circles and he also said oh we have moose lifts and we can install them he said that by doing that will still void your warranty on some things so I really didn't learn much from him at all, with him saying crap it made me want to rethink about what I wanted to do to mine I've thought about just buying flat fenders or cutting mine and 33's so idk I don't want to lift my jeep and then him tell me that nothing is covered now
