Default moog tie rod alternative

Ordered up a rk tie rod and went to a local parts store for the tre's. They had these in stock and are the same part number as the moogs. Has anybody used the brand TRW. They look the same as the moog and are greasable. They are also 10 bucks cheaper.

Doesn't RK recommend using the OEM drag link ends? I'd check with them first.

RK recommends Moog, although there was a batch of Moog's that were bent.

I think the TRW's will be fine.

This is interesting. Just checked the rk website. Only the pro aluminum tie rod is listed now and it says to not use moog or any other aftermarket tre. I ordered the steel tie rod from northridge

Wow, you're right. And the PRO part is the one I have in the garage...along w/ 2 Moog ends. Maybe the RK rep will chime in.

It'd be easier to just pick up the phone, they usually answer first ring... instead of waiting for them to check this thread, which might not even happen. They're good with clearing up issues like this, just post back what you find out for others that may be in the same position.
