Default Mojave Suspension?

I have a strange question. I parked my Mojave next to a sahara jk yesterday and mine seems to sit higher than the sahara. I was surprised to see this. I have been toying with the idea of running 33x12.50 with aftermarket 17'' wheels but didnt think I had the clearance. I know there are some on here running 33x10.50 with stock wheels. Just curious if I could run a wider tire with a new wheel on stock mojave suspension. I didnt think the Mojave had different suspension but it was up at least an inch higher. I scrolled though and tried to search but could not find the answer I needed. Thanks so much

Does it have the same suspension as the rubi? Might be stiffer springs, check the number.

For the tires, vertical clearance isnt the issue , it's turning and sway bar contact. You can defiantly run the 12.50 on the stock wheels, you just will need 1.5" spacers for the wheels

you can run 33's no problem so long as you have aftermarket wheels with less backspacing or are running 1.5" wheel spacers.

The mojave has the rubicon suspension..look under the rear and see if you see red shocks.

Mojave has the same suspension/wheels/tires as rubicon. Just get some spacers and you can put 33s on easily.

What was the backspacing of your wheels and what were you rubbing? Were you rubbing the fenders when flexing or was it the sway bar or something rubbing the inside of your tires?

15x8 Black Rocks with 4" BS. I was rubbing the outside edge of the tire on the inside of the fender when it was flexed a lot

Oh ok. For the OP the Rubi springs should take care of that problem. But I personally am thinking about getting some 33x12.50 tires and I just wanted to make sure the inside wouldn't rub. So that's good to know
