Default Modded rear bumper

Has anyone shortened the rear bumper? I'm looking for some ideas of doing so until I can afford a bumper. My 37s are rubbing the rear bumper since I have the RK 3.5 X factor and it pushed the axle back an inch. Pictures if you have any

Just take it off! It's only hollow plastic so it would be difficult to cut it up without it looking like ass. There's an anti-rear bumper thread in the show and tell you can check out.

Somewhere someone cut the corners of it off and made it just the center piece.....about to the edge of the framerails.

Agreed, just get rid of it!!!

I love the idea behind Offroad Evolution's shackle mounts:

Mine is off now, but not long till I upgrade to another.

Only problem is, your rear corners can get smashed...

For example

When my rear end came off of this, only thing saving my rear corners was the bumper. This bent the bottom corner and ripped half the bumper off as I got off this ledge...

As you can see in the 2nd pic, rear corner is getting ready for impact. Ya it's only plastic, but that plastic was what stopped a more expensive fix than just a plastic bumper. Bumper smashed In right on the corner.

Unless you got rear corner replacement money I advise to keep a bumper..

Personally not a fan of the anti bumper look. I know that plastic isn't much but it does protect somewhat. But thanks for the advice. I'm looking to trim some how and was just looking for an idea
