I think he has been hammering it. Not only is it smashed up its also 1 hour away from were i live.. He tells me heat and hammering will bring it out, 250 bucks lol seems like a major project and wouldnt the bumper be weaker now?

It's weird... I think he did a bit of work to it and removed the crush can covers or something. Considering the crush cans are ok... I don't think $200 would be a horrible deal on that if you plan on beating it up anyways. As long as there aren't any creases or cracks in the metal I can't imagine it would drastically compromise the integrity of it.

My jeep is my DD so i wasnt planning on to much of a beating just wanted to have a nice bumper and a winch. Im leaning now towards just my stockie with winch behind it.

I'd suggest you buy something new then for sure. There are a lot of great solutions available for a good price that aren't..."questionable" haha

Thats what i figure, i mean i would i love a challenge but due to living in an appartment i can only work at my parents place. Doing my cb bracket took me almost 2 weeks to do...

You should look into the Rough Country stubby hybrid with fog lights. Love mine. $220ish shipped through the forum.
