Mixing RK 2.5 and 3.5 Springs
Hey guys I'm a long term lurker. I have an 08 2 door currently running 18/59 springs with a Teraflex leveling kit. I recently purchased some 3.5 inch RK rear springs. I have an EBay rear bumper with tire carrier and removed the rear seat and consistently ride with my tools in the rear. With the setup I'm running just a bit nose high. I'm hoping that after I install the springs that they will settle in right at 3.5. Now my question is can I run some RK 2.5 springs up front. I like a little rake. Or will the difference be too much? Ps I already purchased/will be purchasing everything that is needed for a 3.5 inch lift beside driveshafts.

Not a contractor but always have around 75-100 pounds of misc tools. I was thinking that mixed in with the bumper and spare should weigh it down enough. And that's interesting about the overland system. 2.5 and 3.5 should work out then!

Rk recommended mixing coils when I noticed my rear sat a little lower but your exact experience will differ. I opted to go with a 3/4" spacer so I know exactly how much it'll come up, though it does nothing for coil free length or additional load capacity.

Heres a question for you. Do you ever plan on additional weight up front?
Steel bumper?
Winch?
My jeep is pretty much perfectly level with 3.5" springs front and rear, and i have added additional weight front and rear. So if the 2.5" springs do indeed offer exactly 1" less lift, i bet you will be sitting right about where you want to be.
