Stupid question, I notice lots of mirror write ups but little discussion about the mopar mirror. I just bought one, only available for the driver side but it looks like an awesome mirror and was priced reasonable. I have yet to install, is the mopar mirror decent?

My understanding (and I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong) is that it is a bracket that mounts a TJ mirror onto the JK. Pretty ugly from the side.

After lots of reading, i think i am going to pull the trigger on the Warriors.. I have out laws and they work great, just hate having to take them off and put them on. On the Warrior reloc's does anyone just leave them on the relocation brackets, seems pointless to keep swapping them back and forth...

Product Details
Note: Warrior Mirror Relocation Brackets can not be installed with full frame doors. You will not be able to open the door with the mirrors installed.

Yes, Warrior brackets can and should be left on all year as they do not interferre with the doors when on or mirrors in stock position on doors. When you get them, be sure to 'fix' the vibrations with a duct tape or gorilla tape washer, detailed in posts above.

Edit on above, I mis-read the question. The brackets can stay on all year and do not interferre or hit anything, but when the stock mirrors are mounted on the Warrior brackets AND the doors are on, the door will only open 75%.

It takes less than 5 mins to swap the mirrors from bracket to stock location on door, & visa versa - annoying but I dont know of any mirror relocation bracket that allows the doors to open fully AND gives a decent sideview - Warriors are the best compromise, imo,

I thought you could fully open the doors with the Rugged Ridge set. I think I'm gonna go with them because I'm a "Set it and forget it" kind of guy. Also, you don't have to modify it it so it won't vibrate.

I have a set of the Rugged Ridge brackets. I pulled them off and went with the Mopar version. I had to have some spacers for my lights and the mirror bracket machined out of nylon for it all to work out. I plan on posting the pics eventually.

That's exactly what I am doing this weekend. Putting them back to their original location. With the doors off. the passenger side mirror is fine (as is using the Bestop soft doors), but with full doors on, it's all but useless.
