Thumbs down Mirror Relocation Brackets

I think that this might be good information, but I'm so mad I have to vent, so here goes. I went online to Missouri 4wheeler Supply and ordered Item # 11025.04 Mirror Relocation Bracket. I only had to wait about three days for them to arrive. I get home from work, and start putting them on. I'm following the directions, that I did read before the install. I get the stock mirror off, and mount the new bracket. Easy. Then I put the mirror on, and attempt to start the bolt that the directions said. I quickly realized that it is too short, as it stripped the first three threads. So I called and explained the situation. The guy I talked to asked for pictures, which I sent. He sends me an email with a link and ask for me to call. I called him, and looked at the link he sent. It was directions. He said that he called the manufacture, and was told that there were revised directions, that address this problem. Wish I had had them before. The pictures don’t match the captions, and totally contradict the previous ones. I finally got them mounted tonight. The directions state that the passenger mirror will be "partially" blocked by the doors, but with the doors off, they are able to be seen fine. Partially isn't even close. I can see two inches of the mirror. I don’t like these at all. I think it's time for a redesign. I wouldn't buy these again. I would not recommend these to anyone.

FYI, these are actually made by OMIX-ADA... aren't these typically marketed by Rugged Ridge? I've seen them on another member's ride and he loved them. Sorry to hear you had such troubles installing them. If you don't like them you should be able to take them back I would think.
